Demonstrations against price hike continued in Khartoum on Tuesday as protesters gathered on the streets chanting anti-government slogans.The slogans raised a voice against the recent inflation in prices of basic commodities. The Sudanese security forces allegedly used batons and tear gas to disperse the crowds. Three young protesters have so far been arrested by the security forces.

Protests against rising inflation in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum started on September 27.
