One robber captured in clash with police in Kass, South Darfur

Security authorities in Kass Locality in South Darfur arrested one of a gang of 12 robbers. A local official, Ismail Yahya Abdullah, told Radio Dabanga from Kass that the gang practiced robbery of citizens at night in the area around the transmission station, the entrance to the southern forest and the entrance to the livestock corral. He reported that the clashes between police and criminals resulted in the arrest of one gang member, which he said would lead to the capture of the rest.
