Flash floods destroy homes in new Zamzam camp, Darfur

Floods and rain destroyed dozens of houses and a market in New Zamzam camp, said a resident of the camp on Thursday. He explained that tributaries of the Wadi Golo overflowed into the camp besides continuous rains for about ten days. The flooding has destroyed dozens of homes and shops and left their owners in the open. The camp resident appealed to the aid organizations to speed up relief to displaced people as soon as possible.
