About 215 families that have returned to their areas of origin in Yassin locality in East Darfur are suffering from a shortage of services.
Speaking to Radio Dabanga, a returnee reported that the people who returned to Sineit, Bajo and Kalajo in Yassin locality are in dire need of water, food, shelter, health care, and education facilities.
The Commissioner of Yassin locality, Mustafa Yousef, has pledged to provide the required services. He has also instructed the locality’s education administration to restore the Sineit and Kalajo schools to their former location.
