Herders

In the area of Ernei, southwest of Mershing, four militant herders riding camels ambushed a woman and her daughter who were tending their farm, a listener told Radio Dabanga.

“They beat the mother before they raped her daughter alternately.”

Another group of herders drove their camels into farms. “When the farmers protested, they severely beat them with their whips. Four farmers were seriously wounded,” he reported.
