Security forces in Khartoum arrested four students from Darfur. The students belong to the United People’s Front. They were detained on Thursday and Friday.A student told Radio Dabanga that the security forces on Thursday arrested Abulgasim Ahmed Mohamed and Mohammed Adam Ahmed, both students at the University of Omdurman Islamic University campus, while on Friday they detained Gamreddin Ishag, a student at the University of Sudan, and Adam Salah Mohamed, a student at the University of Nilein.

The student who spoke to Radio Dabanga condemned the arrests and pointed out that the authorities had selectively targeted students from Darfur. He therefore described the arrests as racist and demanded the release of the detained students immediately, or a fair trial for them.
