Militia kidnaps Abu Tira commander

Captain Ahmed Abdullah and his companion have been abducted to the mountains of North DarfurAn armed group called Darfur Front for Justice stormed the headquarters of the central reserve police, also known as Abu Tira, in Kutum locality of North Darfur on Sunday.

An armed group called Darfur Front for Justice stormed the headquarters of the central reserve police, also known as Abu Tira, in Kutum locality of North Darfur on Sunday.The group kidnapped Captain Ahmed Abdullah Saeed Nur, one of the perpetrators of the attack told Radio Dabanga. 

30 members forcefully raided the headquarters of the Abu Tira at 11 pm on Sunday evening and abducted the captain and one of his companions. The kidnapped have been taken to the mountains of North Darfur.

Radio Dabanga could not confirm this news with the central reserve police authorities.
