Militants rape and beat two women near Kabkabiya, N. Darfur

Pro government militants raped two displaced women in the area of Tamar Damba Kodak, west of Kabkabiya in the state of North Darfur on Sunday. A source informed Radio Dabanga that two pro-government militants attacked the two young women when they were working at a farm in the area. It was added that the women were raped and beaten at gunpoint. The source revealed that one of the women is 17 years old and the other woman is 22 years old.Moreover, the source stated that the incident was reported to UNAMID and the local authorities in Kabkabiya and Zalingei.
