Militants injure ’50 people’ in Rwanda camp, N Darfur

A number of pro-government militants attacked Rwanda camp in Tawila locality of North Darfur on Friday. About 50 camp residents were injured and money and mobiles were looted in the attack.Speaking to Radio Dabanga, one of the camp’s sheikhs said that seven gunmen entered camp Rwanda at around 9:00pm on Friday evening and continued to raid the camp until 1:00am Saturday morning.The sheikh asserted that the gunmen injured around 50 people and looted large sums of money and mobile phones. He added that the militants also beat members of the Central Reserve Forces, known as Abu Tira, and looted their mobile phones.
