Kass begins WFP re-registration process

On Wednesday Kass camp in South Darfur started the World Food Programme’s re-registration process required to update the body’s distribution lists and resume food rations. After initial skepticism from displaced residents at the camp and assurances that the process wouldn’t lead to voluntary return, camp leaders agreed to carry out the process. Camp leader Ibrahim Ahmed told Radio Dabanga that the process began yesterday and they are expecting an increase in number including newborns and newly displaced residents.
