Kabkabiya camp resident murdered in North Darfur

A resident of a Kabkabiya camp for the displaced in North Darfur was shot dead on Monday. A camp sheikh told Radio Dabanga that on Monday evening three militiamen attacked Omar Hamed Abdallah inside his house in the Karkara camp, west of Kabkabiya town. They shot him dead and fled. The sheikh called on the authorities and Unamid to protect the residents of the Kabkabiya camps and deter the militias, and on the government to bring the perpetrators to justice. File photo
