JEM condemns accusation of Darfuri fighting along Gadaffi

The Justice and Equality Movement yesterday strongly condemned and denied the accusation of President Omar al-Bashir that Darfuri in Libya are fighting along Gadaffi. JEM said that the announcement, which was released by al-Bashir in his meeting with the Sudanese community in Qatar last week, was an unequivocal confirmation that al-Bashir is still continuing genocide in Darfur. Suleiman Sandal, the Commander in Chief of the JEMs forces, told Radio Dabanga: ‘it’s astonashing that there is a head of state in the world inciting a  foreign country to kill its own state’s people’.

Suleiman Sandal stressed that what al-Bashir said about the participation of Darfuri in Libya is incorrect and based on thin air. He described al-Bashir’s statement as an incitement to kill Darfuri and called on the Prosecutor General of the International Criminal Court to investigate the incitement of El-Bashir against the people of Darfur.
