Humanitarian Oganizations refused to enter Camp

Activists from Kalma camp yesterday told Radio Dabanga that the security authorities refuse 6 humanitarian organizations to enter the camp. According to the activists the death rate is increasing and the health situation in the camp is deteriorating as humanitarian organizations have had to halt their work for more than two weeks now.

Diseases such as coughs, diarrhea and fever have spread due to a halt in the work of organization in the camp since April 13. Nine children aged from newborns to 9 months old passed away at Center 7 in Kalma Camp during the past week. According to a Sheikh in the camp on average 50 children die every week.
