Herders kill East Darfur farmer, wound another in shooting

A farmer was killed and another injured at El Ta’ah in Adila loacality, East Darfur on Wednesday, when they reportedly resisted gunmen from grazing livestock on their farm. A relative of the deceased told Radio Dabanga that Juma Joda Nour died and Tahim Ibrahim was injured when eight gunmen, mounted on horses, allegedly herded their livestock onto the farm. The farmers then tried to block them and were shot. Nour aparently died on the spot. The gunmen then fled.
