Gunmen slay camp resident in Nyala, South Darfur

Gunmen have shot and killed Hadi Abdallah Hassan of Dreige camp for the displaced in Nyala, capital of South Darfur. A resident of the camp told Radio Dabanga that four “government-backed militiamen” attacked Hassan as he left his home at around 8pm on Saturday with the aim of robbing him. Hassan clashed with one of the gunmen. Another shot him, killing him instantly. The resident added that the police based near the camp were able to arrest the gunmen. Gunmen have shot and killed Hadi Abdallah Hassan of Dreige camp for the displaced in Nyala, capital of South Darfur.

The resident added that the police based near the camp were able to arrest the gunmen.
