Gunmen kill two after stealing cows in Central Darfur

Gunmen killed two people and wounded several others after they looted 100 cows in Gara area, north of Murnei, in Zalingei locality on Wednesday. One day later, militiamen also looted cows in Central Darfur’s Bindisi locality. A witness told Radio Dabanga that “pro-government militias attacked the area in Central Darfur and looted more than 100 cows.” He explained that a native rescue team clashed with the gunmen. The gunmen killed two people of the team and wounded several others after they had managed to recover some of the cows from the grip of insurgents. In another incident on Thursday, pro-government militias looted on 40 cows from the area of Damnan in Bindisi locality after they fired dense bullets into the air. Bindisi hit by floods Bindisi locality witnessed floods and heavy rains which washed away seven herders and six villages on Wednesday. “The rain lasted for six hours.
