Governors of Buram and Radom attacked

The governors of Buram and Radom were on their way to the city of Nyala in South Darfur when they were attacked by a group of armed gunmen in the valley of Ghadari. The governors remained unharmed, however, one of the drivers died during the attack, Musa Mukhtar, the governor of Buram, tells Radio Dabanga.

In a seperate incident an armed group of gunmen traveling from Buram to Nyala stopped a convoy of trucks and opened fire. A truck driver named Mohamed AlTaher was killed.

In a third incident two farmers were killed by a group of armed men traveling by camelback in the area of Nyala. The farmers were driving home to their farms when they where shot down by armed gunmen.
