Government attacks Minawi forces in North Darfur

Government forces launched an attack on Tuesday on sites controlled by the Minni Minawi faction, namely Dar es Salaam and Shangil Tobayi in North Darfur. Witnesses told Radio Dabanga that the clashes led to a wave of people fleeing Shaddad Camp toward the site where Minawi’s forces in the region had concentrated. Radio Dabanga could not reach independent sources to verify the resulting wounded and dead of the combatants.
