Defendants, charged for  ‘waging war against the state,’ were arrested for planning a demonstration to oust the regimeFour (4) citizens in Nyala will be produced in court on Thursday on charges of undermining constitutional order, provoking war against the state and forming a criminal organization.

Sudanese authorities arrested them on the above mentioned charges for planning a demonstration in the city to oust the regime. If convicted under these charges, the defendants are subject to execution and confiscation of property.

Shaker Abdul Rahman Adam, Adel Abdullah Ibrahim, Abdallah Harran Adam, Salah al-Din Babiker Adam Abdullah have been named as the defendants.

Bashir Abu, the chief of defence, told Radio Dabanga that the session on Thursday is a rehearsal, which will hear the police inspector, the prosecutor and a witness against the accused.
