Fire in Islamic Centre destroys 13 houses in South Darfur

A fire that broke out in an Islamic Centre in Gireida, South Darfur, on Sunday, wounded three women, and burned 13 houses to ashes. Speaking to Radio Dabanga, an eyewitness reported that on Sunday fire broke out in the Islamic Centre of Sheikh Ahmaday in Gireida. Three women were injured, two of them seriously. The fire also destroyed stores and stables. 250 large sacks of sorghum and 180 sheep were lost.
