About 60 acres of farmland has been destroyed by livestock after herders reportedly drove their animals onto lands in the area of Tabit in North Darfur.

Farmers complained to Radio Dabanga that the land, which was planted with beans, grains, okra, sorghum, and watermelons, has been destroyed after militant herders drove their livestock to graze on the farms by force of arms.

He appealed to the authorities to intervene to protect farmers and farms from the herders.
