Families worried about 4 men arrested in South Kordofan

Four Darfuri men were arrested by security authorities last Friday in Balila in South Kordofan as they were traveling from Mayom, near the border with South Sudan. Their families say they are worried about their whereabouts and do not know why they were arrested. They said the men were working in small businesses and trade around the Mayom area. Their families are residents of Kalma camp in South Darfur. They named the detainees as Abdul Karim Dawud Adam from Bul Bul Timbisku, Faisal Abdul Aziz Suleiman, Idris Yusuf Abdullah yahya and Addeen Abdullah Yem from the Shataya area. The families are afraid that the men may have been killed or tortured and appeal to human rights organisations, activists and the UN to intervene and find these men and release them.
