Driver killed and looted by gunmen

Gunmen killed a man on Monday as he was transporting commercial goods on the road between Nyala and Kass. The men tried to stop the car and shot at the driver when he refused to stop. The driver Ahmed Abdul Mola was shot in the head and chest and died instantly, said a witness to Radio Dabanga. In a separate incident on the same road on Monday, gunmen looted a bus carrying 35 passengers forcing them to hand over their belongings. Witnesses said Adam Sadig and Adam Osman were carrying large amounts of money and looted of 10,000 Sudanese pounds and 7,000 SDG respectively.
