Displaced in Central Darfur reject school fees

The residents of the Zalingei camps for the displaced in Central Darfur complain about basic school fees. The coordinator of the Central Darfur camps reported to Radio Dabanga that the displaced in the Hamidiya, Teiba, El Salam, Khamsa Degaig, and Hassahissa camps reject the fees imposed by basic school administrations in Zalingei locality on new pupils this year.The registration fees amount up to SDG50 ($8.72). An extra monthly fee of SDG7 ($1.22) has been imposed on each pupil.
