Student Sudanese Congress Party members detained in West Kordofan

Security forces detained two student members of the Sudanese Congress Party on Tuesday. “Elements of the National Security and Intelligence Service (NISS) on Tuesday evening detained Nasreldin Ahmed and Mohamed Abdin, student members of the Sudanese Congress Party in front of the West Kordofan University in En Nahud. The students were going to deliver a speech inside the University condemning the arrest of party head Ibrahim El Sheikh on Tuesday afternoon. The NISS officers said the students were detained under the emergency law, and took them to an unknown destination”, Bakri Yousif, the spokesman for the party reported to Radio Dabanga. He added that the security apparatus transferred two of the party cadres detained on Tuesday afternoon, Fathi Mohamed, Marwan Arja, and journalist Hassan Ishag to a prison in En Nahud.
