Darfuri prisoners complain of mistreatment in Omdurman

Darfuri prisoners in Kober prison in Bahri and Elhadi in Omdurman, who are estimated to be thousands in number, complained of mistreatment and shortage in food, water and medical services.

Darfuri prisoners in Kober prison in Bahri and Elhadi in Omdurman, who are estimated to be thousands in number, complained of mistreatment and shortage in food, water and medical services. One of the prisoners told Radio Dabanga that they eat two fixed meals a day and are offered little water, especially in the prison of Elhadi. The prisoner also pointed out the lack of health care and a policy of preventing relatives from visiting the prisoners.
