Barrel bombs dropped by an aircraft of the Sudanese Air Force near Fanga village in East Jebel Marra today led to the killing of a number of livestock.

Barrel bombs dropped by an aircraft of the Sudanese Air Force near Fanga village in East Jebel Marra today led to the killing of a number of livestock.

A resident of Fanga who fled to a nearby valley told Radio Dabanga that an Antonov roamed the sky above the area for four hours this Sunday morning, before it dropped seven barrel bombs north of Fanga.

He said that the people in the area took shelter in the valleys and the mountains neighbouring villagers. The bombs set tracts of land on fire.
