Darfur peace talks to resume Sunday after Ramadan break

A source in the joint mediation team of the Darfur peace process told Radio Dabanga that the Doha negotiations between the government and the Liberation and Justice Movement (LJM) are scheduled to resume next Sunday, September 19, 2010, after a hiatus of more than a month because of Ramadan. The source said that the government delegation asked for a deadline for finishing the consulations.
