‘Civilians killed, clinic destroyed’ in South Kordofan air raid

A civilian couple were killed and two others injured on Tuesday when a ‘Sudan Air Force Antonov’ allegedly bombed the village of Tonguli in Dalami County, South Kordofan. The spokesman for rebel group SPLM-N, Arnu Ngutulu Lodi, has told Radio Dabanga that four bombs were dropped on the residential area of the village, killing 55-year-old Merriam Gabush Kome and her 60-year-old husband Omar Kuku Omar. “The bombing also caused injury to 16-year-old Gasim Ali Jabir and 42-year-old Altahir Musa,” Lodi said. “The village’s medical clinic was completely destroyed along with all the medicines inside.” Lodi cautioned that more bombardments have been reported on Wednesday, but he could not provide any details yet.
