Citizens wounded, robbed, abducted in Central Darfur

Citizens were wounded and robbed, and one of them abducted by Janjaweed near Nierteti in Central Darfur on Sunday. Speaking to Radio Dabanga, an eyewitness reported that on Sunday at about 5pm Janjaweed on camels and horses attacked a group of citizens in the area of Garni, north of Nierteti, who were on their way to Jebel Marra after visiting the Nierteti market. The gunmen beat them with rifle butts and whips, injuring two of them seriously. They robbed the citizens of their money, mobile phones, and purchases, and left, taking one of the citizens with them.
