Citizens killed, injured at Central and South Darfur markets

Two school students were shot at the market of Deleig in Central Darfur on Sunday. On the same day, militiamen raided the Jukhana market, near Gireida town in South Darfur, killing a displaced man and injuring others. “At about 8pm on Sunday, four government-backed gunmen opened fire on Mutasim Abdel Kabir who was riding a motorcycle at the Deleig market”, a market vendor told Radio Dabanga from Deleig. “Abdel Kabir, a secondary school student, died instantly. Maher Ibrahim (11), a basic school pupil, was critically injured in his chest.
