On Monday, a fire broke out at Masida, Hambokol, and Mahas areas in Sudan’s Northern State. The fire destroyed large tracts of palm trees, three houses, and shops.
This was a suspected arson attack, which activists have attributed the to the fierce resistance to the establishment of the Dal and Kajbar dams.
