Central Darfur Sheikh seriously wounded in militia attack

Another Sheikh from the camp told Radio Dabanga that gunmen accosted Sheikh Bakhit and three of his daughters as they made their way back to the camp from their farm on Sunday. The bandits were apparently intent on assaulting the tree women.

When Sheikh Yousif confronted them, they shot and seriously wounded him. He was evacuated to Garsila hospital in critical condition.
