Barrel bombs dropped near Fanga in Darfur’s Jebel Marra

The Sudanese Air Force bombed the area west of Fanga in Jebel Marra this (Tuesday) afternoon.
“From 8 am onwards, an Antonov of the Sudanese Air Force roamed the sky above Fanga,” a villager reported to Radio Dabanga.
“Around 1 pm, it dropped 12 barrel bombs west of the village. A number of livestock were killed and injured. The bombs set tracts of land in the neighbourhood on fire.”
He said that the people living in the area all sought refuge in the neighbouring valleys and mountains.
