Baath Party leader in South Darfur arrested

NYALA (24 Feb.) – Hashim Mohamed al Mahi, leader of the Baath Arab Socialist Party was arrested by the security authorities. He was distributing leaflets in the stadium on Saturday night.

NYALA (24 Feb.) – Hashim Mohamed al Mahi, leader of the Baath Arab Socialist Party was arrested by the security authorities. He was distributing leaflets in the stadium on Saturday night. Authorities prevented employees of the South Darfur Popular Congress Party from doing work for the party in the area of Khazan Jedid. Five of them were detained for more than seven hours and released after being forced not the engage in any activity of the Popular Congress.
