Four police officers were wounded, two of them seriously, in an attack on the police station in Kireinek, West Darfur on Wednesday.

According to a witness, a group of militiamen in two Land cruisers attacked the police station at about 2am.

“The attackers seized two Land Cruisers mounted with Dushka machineguns, as well as all the weapons and ammunition, and left in the direction of Saraf Umra in North Darfur,” he said.
