Armed group loots 75 sheep from Fatah Borno IDP camp

An armed group has looted 75 sheep from Fatah Borno internally displaced persons (IDP) camp in North Darfur. A female IDP said ‘gunmen fired heavily into the air, causing those looking after the sheep to flee.’ The gunmen then stole the animals. The witness noted the sheep belong to a number of displaced families, and said the incident was reported to the police. The police told camp residents they could not track down the perpetrators as they do not have the means to do so.
