The medical staffs of Adila Hospital are continuing their strike in protest against the non-payment of their entitlements.

Apart from the delay in the payment of allowances, the hospital workers complain about a deterioration of the working environment.

“The hospital has no water and electricity anymore, as the power generator broke down. The only ambulance we have, needs to be repaired too,” one of the staff members told Radio Dabanga.

“We have not received our allowances and bonuses for years. Besides, there is no possibility to make promotion.”

He noted that “there are no signs that the problem will be solved soon”.
