Abu-Manga troops release hostages

Troops led by Abu-Manga, who abducted nine displaced persons from the Al Hamidiya camp, in Zalingei, North Darfur, released yesterday six hostages. Another one escaped and the remaining two are missing. Sources told Radio Dabanga that the released hostages are: Al Ghezuli Ismail Harung, Faisel Adam Ismayl, Harung Mohammed Harung, Adam Ibrahim Ahmet, Ahmet Abdel Ahmet, Mohammed Adam Iagob. Two of them, Faisel Adam Ismayl and Adam Ibrahim Ahmed, were taken to Khartoum due to leg and head injuries. While visiting the released hostages in the Zalingei Hospital, four displaced persons were arrested by security services. Their whereabouts are unknown. The detainees are: Osman Harun Mohammed, Adam Adam Dawood, known as Kajek, Mohammed Abdel Rahman Isaag, known as Abutallahab and Ansalleh Ibrahim. In addition, another nine people were arrested by government forces in Zalingei. In total, 13 displaced persons from the Al Hamidiya camp in Central Darfur, are currently detained.
