6 citizens wounded by uniformed gunmen on Nyala-Um Dukhun road

Six civilians suffered severe injuries on Monday when gunmen opened fire on the Nyala-Um Dukhun road. Three of the victims were transferred to Nyala Hospital for treatment. One of the injured civilians said that an armed group of five people in military uniforms opened fire at them when they were in a commercial trip from Nyala to Um Dukhun on board five cars.

One of the injured civilians said that an armed group of five people in military uniforms opened fire at them when they were in a commercial trip from Nyala to Um Dukhun on board five cars. In a separate incident, an armed group killed the civilian Ishaq Aiyd Eltahir and stole his cattle in the area of Wad Hajam which is under El Radum district. Adam Mukhtar Idriss, the member of parliament of the constituency, said that those types of incidents have repeated themselves several times in those areas and called on the authorities to interfere as soon as possible to stop the out-laws.
