Egyptian police detained yesterday 55 Sudanese before their arrival to the North Sinai governorate intending to leave for Israel, according to a security source. The source said they were inside the container in a truck stopped by police at the checkpoint at the entrance to the Shaheed Ahmed Hamdi Tunnel on the Suez. There were 40 men, nine women and six children aged between four and 12 years.
