50 arrests in Sennar protest against Sudan regime

The security bureau arrested around 50 people who participated in the student anti-regime demonstrations on Sunday in Sennar.

The security bureau arrested around 50 people who participated in the student anti-regime demonstrations on Sunday in Sennar. The arrests included some citizens who joined the student demonstrators. A witness told radio Dabanga that the people arrested included student leaders, the most famous of them being Abdullah Rabih, also known as Sharon, and Dr. Ibrahim who is known also as Bob, and Adam Bahar. The witness pointed out that three others were arrested in El Hassa Hissa in Gezira state and were charged with participating in the Medani demonstrations.
