4 new registration centers in S. Darfur

The High Committee for South Sudan Referendum in South Darfur State announced Monday four new registration centers in South Darfur, in Al Radom, Bileil, Abu Karnaka and Abu Jabra. The committee said that 3867 southerners had registered in the state, including 2199 in Nyala. Additionally, the center at Tulus was moved to Katila Locality, and Yasin center was moved to Al Fardus Locality. Meanwhile in West Darfur, the registration process was described as average, with about 2500 people of southern origin registered. Adam Ahmed Tahir, spokesman of the Referendum Commission in West Darfur, pointed out that high numbers of women wish to register, especially in the morning.
