124 cases of cholera registered in Sudan, six patients dead

The Sudanese Ministry of Health reported it has registered 124 cases of cholera, 101 in Blue Nile state and 23 in Sennar. No new deaths were recorded.

The Sudanese Ministry of Health reported it has registered 124 cases of cholera, 101 in Blue Nile state, and 23 in Sennar. No new deaths were recorded.

In Blue Nile state five new cases of cholera were registered on Wednesday. So far, six people have died because of the disease in Singa, Abu Hujar, and Sennar.

The Sudanese Central Doctors Committee reported on Wednesday that three new cases were recorded in the state hospitals. The hospitals of Ed Damazin and El Roseires, and the health centre of El Gouni held 22 cases. The hospitals in Wad El Mahi and El Serio were free of cholera patients.
