Two men were killed in an air raid near Fanga in East Jebel Marra today.

Speaking to Radio Dabanga, a relative of the deceased reported that Abdelkarim Yagoub Adam (40) and Ibrahim Eisa Yahya (35) died when they were hit by a bomb dropped by an Antonov of the Sudanese Air Force this (Thursday) morning.

She said that the Antonov hit the area north of Fanga with 74 bombs during the past two days. “Some of the 43 bombs dropped on Wednesday, killed dozens of cattle.”

On Sunday, three herders were fatally hit in the area north of Fanga. Two days later, seven people, among them two children and three women, died in an air raid south of Karkego, also in East Jebel Marra.
