11 Darfuri prisoners still held captive

Lawyer Baroud Sandal told Radio Dabanga, that, still, eleven Darfuri prisoners have not been released. This is contrary to the decision, ordering their release, that was issued by President Omar al-Bashir. Sandal stated that nine of them remained imprisoned in El Fasher, and the other two in Nyala Prison.

The lawyer explained that the detainees were arrested between 2009 and 2010, but have not been charged with anything. Sandal, therefore, demands their immediate release.
