Woman injured in attack on car in South Darfur

A woman was seriously wounded when the vehicle she was in was attacked in Kass locality, South Darfur, on Monday.

“A group of gunmen suddenly fired a hail of bullets at a Hyundai Atos in the area of Khor Tawamis, 5 km south of Kass town,” a relative of the victim told Dabanga.

“The car was on its way from Nyala to Kass,” he explained. “Asha Ibrahim Adam Abdelrazeg was hit and had to be taken to a hospital in Nyala for treatment.”

He added that the vehicle was severely damaged.
