West Kordofan workers to strike in need of salaries

The unions of workers and service administrations in Abu Zabad, West Kordofan, have announced a strike in protest against the non-payment of their salaries for three months.

El Manna Dafalla, the Secretary-General of the union in Abu Zabad locality, has revealed that the workers in Abu Zabad and El Sunut localities have still not received their salaries, which becomes more of a problem during the holy month of Ramadan and the beginning of the school year.

He appealed to the authorities to speed up the payment of the workers’ salaries.
