West Kordofan school children injured after ‘hallucinations’

At least 39 basic school children in West Kordofan sustained various injuries on Thursday as they were stricken by hallucinations.
The students living in the area of El Teria were wounded when they were stricken by hallucinations accompanied by convulsions, El Sayha newspaper reported on Thursday. Three of them had to be taken to hospital.
Especially as similar cases occurred in 2010, the hospital administration sent a technical team to investigate the pupils.
At that time, it was concluded that the 2010 cases were caused by the consumption of wheat flour contaminated with atropine and other toxins.
