West Darfur to establish major cattle market at Foro Baranga

The state of west Darfur has begun work to establish a cattle market in the area of Foro Baranga. The project is valued at two million pounds.

The state of west Darfur has begun work to establish a cattle market in the area of Foro Baranga. The project is valued at two million pounds. Mohammed Ali Saeed, the Minister of Animal Resources in the state, said that the market includes veterinary services in addition to a unit for combating flees, as well as a water station for the animals which are in the market. The minister estimated that the amount of the animal resources in West Darfur is close to 17 million head of different types of cattle.
